Who We Are
We began NJGreenScene on Instagram in 2016 with the idea that New Jersey needed a safe space to discuss the upcoming legal, adult-use cannabis market.
We wanted to provide a place for cannabis enthusiasts to share info about their favorite flower, as well as promote events related to it. Our Instagram grew to nearly 25,000 followers all while the state of New Jersey worked out it's version of "legalization."
Throughout the years NJGreenScene has grown to become New Jersey's leader in cannabis news reporting. With a focus on Social Equity and giving back to our community, NJGreenScene has also become a leader in cannabis advocacy and consulting. We are looking forward to providing future job creation and training for those who have been negatively affected by the war on drugs.
With the upcoming adult-use market, we hope to springboard off of our social media success into a licensed, retail cannabis location. We usually say that we have been "trading in cannabis" since the 1990's, which is true; however only recently did it become apparent that we actually have the opportunity to make this a completely legal career.
Why the Page?
1. We appreciate the love and loyalty we've received over the years on social media and in person. We've always envisioned NJGreenScene as a hub for everything cannabis in the Tri-state. this website is a major part of that vision.
2. Additionally, the purpose of this site is for us to have a piece of digital real estate that we OWN,
3. So that we will always have a way to communicate with YOU! After losing our initial Instagram, we realized that our followers deserve more stability from us--and,
